Mark Davison, DPM, operates two offices to provide his patients in Central Pennsylvania with quality foot care close to home. Dr. Davison’s education gives him understanding and insight that his patients appreciate. He has a B.S. from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA., achieved his D.P.M. from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, and completed his residency at the VA Medical Center, in Washington, D.C.

His surgical and podiatric skills, combined with his previous membership with the National Ski Patrol and the American College of Sports Medicine, gives Dr. Davison important insight into the proper care of biomechanical problems and sports injuries that can occur in the feet.

Active Foot Care’s Philosophy of Treatment

A holistic approach is Dr. Davison’s treatment philosophy. He and his staff work to solve the root of the problem, not just treat the symptoms. For example, with biomechanical problems, the key approach lies in finding the neutral position of a person’s foot. When an individual does not walk in a neutral position, a number of problems can arise.

Dr. Davison can correct not only foot pain, but back pain and other related problems. Sports-related injuries can happen any time of the year, from boating or running injuries in the summer, to skiing and ice-skating injuries in the winter. Do not delay in getting the gentle and most effective treatment for your foot conditions.
